XI International Jacobean Lessons at the University of Santiago de Compostela
The summer course ‘XI International Jacobean Lessons. The Camino in the year of European cultural heritage’, organised by the University of Santiago de Compostela, will be held at the Museum of Pilgrimage and Santiago between the 17th and the 20th July 2018.
This 11th edition aims to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the declaration of the Camino as World Heritage. The course, directed by the professors Miguel Taín Guzmán and Domingo González Lopo, is open to the university community and to anyone who would like to increase his/her knowledge of issues around the Way of Saint James and the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
This summer course involves 30 hours (2 ECTS) and the number of participants is limited to fifty. Registration for 'XI International Jacobean Lessons' is now open and will be closed on 6th July.
Participation of the Compostela Group of Universities
The Executive Secretary of the Compostela Group of Universities, Prof. Dr María Teresa Carballeira Rivera, will provide the lecture ‘Culture, cultural heritage and the Camino de Santiago. A legal analysis’.
