I Summer Mx programme of Tecnológico de Monterrey


The I Summer Mx programme, organised by Tecnológico de Monterrey, will be held in four Mexican cities between 2nd and 27th July of 2018.

This summer programme combines cultural activities with courses focused on creating entrepreneurial leaders, giving international students an opportunity to learn how to improve their skills as a professional.

The courses available are:

Mexican Identity and culture (taught in English). Basic humanities course in which students will understand, identify and analyze aspects of Mexico's culture so that they can assimilate and integrate themselves into the culture. Credit per class 5 ECTS.

Basic Spanish as a Foreign Language. Beginning basic Spanish as a Foreign Language course allows students to developing the basic communicative skills in the Spanish language to improve their performance in social and academic contexts. It requires no previous knowledge of Spanish. Credit per class 5 ECTS.

Intercultural communication (taught in English). Students will develop the basic skills of audio-visual narrative, multimedia storytelling and developing audiovisual content based on their learning of Mexican Culture. Credit per class 5 ECTS.


Fees and tuition


The fee is $3600 USD for independent students and $1600 USD for exchange students (nominated by a partner institution).


The I Summer Mx programme includes:

-Full trasportation from Monday to Saturday, for all the activities in the program, and between cities.
-Breakfast from Monday to Saturday.
-Tickets for all places and events in the program.
-Student Kit.
