A group of students from the CGU member Universities participates in the workshop ‘The Way of St. James: European Identity and Global Appeal’
Almost twenty participants from twelve CGU member Universities have joined experts from Spain, France and Germany at the University of Regensburg (Germany) at the beginning of August to take part on the First Compostela Group of Universities' Students Workshop.
During the first three days, participants and experts reflected on the history of St. James’ Way and the relevance of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela for culture, religion and European Identity. The second part of the workshop gave them the opportunity to explore the border between Germany and the Czech Republic, discovering El Camino a Santiago from Pilsen to Regensburg.
