Find out who is on the Selection Committee of the STELLA Mobility Programmes of the Compostela Group of Universities

 

Discover the composition of the Selection Committees of STELLA for Staff and Junior, which will evaluate the applications to select the candidates for the mobility and grants.


For STELLA for Staff, the professional mobility programme for services staff, the Selection Committee is chaired by the Coordinator of the programme, Ms Eva Garea Oya, and composed by the following members:

  • The Director for International Affairs of the Pan-European University (Slovakia), Ph.D., JU Dr Slavomir Rudenko.
  • The Director of the Institutional Relations Directorate (DARI) of the Pontifical Catholic University (Peru), Prof. Dr Rocío Villanueva.

 

As for STELLA Junior, the mobility and training programme for students, is presided by the Coordinator of the programme, Ms Dulce Alejandra Quirarte Mireles, and composed by the following members:

  • Professor at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the University of Lódz (Poland), Prof. Tomasz Domański.
  • Vice-Rector for Internationalization of the University of Seville (Spain), Prof. Dr Carmen Vargas Macias.

 

Remember that STELLA Junior programme is divided into two calls this year, so the Selection Committee will issue its decision regarding the first call. The CGU invites its member universities to submit their placement offers for the second call until 30th June 2018.

 

What will be the selection criteria?

 

Following the guidelines of STELLA for Staff, in order to evaluate the applications the Selection Committee will focus on the following criteria:

  • Adaptation of the candidate’s curricular profile to the requested offer.
  • Prioritisation of those candidates who have not received a STELLA for Staff grant in the latest five years.
  • Prioritisation of those candidates applying for mobility in more than one University.
  • Prioritisation of those candidates applying for the maximum duration of mobility.
  • Prioritisation of those candidates who have not applied for grants for the same mobility to other institutions.
  • Fostering geographical and university distribution.
  • The interest of the candidate’s proposal.
  • Seniority in the employment relationship.

 

When reviewing the applications for STELLA Junior, the Selection Committee will consider the following criteria:

  • Prioritisation of international and intercontinental mobility.
  • Adaptation of the candidate's profile to the training offer requested.
  • Fostering geographical and university distribution.
  • Adaptation of the candidate's preferences to the training offer requested.

 

During the month of June, the Compostela Group of Universities will publish the list of the selected candidates for both mobility programmes.
