XXII CGU General Assembly in Castelló (Spain). Register before the 31st of July!
The XXII General Assembly will be held in Castelló (Spain), at the Universitat Jaume I, from 18th to 20th September, 2016.
The programme of this year is focused on the topic “From the Triple to the Quadruple Helix: The Civil Society as a Driver to University Innovation”, and will include a number of experts on different related fields.
The first day, 18th September, an optional cultural excursion to Peñíscola is foreseen. Peñíscola is a peninsula 55 km far away from Castelló, and has a gothic castle and a walled city formed by fishermen houses.
For the first day of the General Assembly, on Monday, 19th September, the General council meeting will take place at the Universitat Jaume I, with the participation of all the CGU members. After the closure, the participants will be received by the City Council.
For the last day, 20th September, an interesting academic programme is offered. The activities include the consolidated Compostela Dialogues in Higher Education, this year focused on ‘Improving Society through Ethics in Higher Education’, the second edition of the Compostela Cafe, under the title ‘The Internationalization as a Key Element of the Quadruple Helix: University, Industry, Government and Society’, and a new innitiative, the Compostela Research Pitches Contest. The jorney will be closed with the awarding ceremony of the International Prize Grupo Compostela-Xunta de Galicia, given to CIRCOM Regional this year.
