The Compostela Group of Universities continues its journey towards the celebration of the “First International University Forum: The Value of Human Rights on the Camino de Santiago”
On January the online course was launched, a specific collaboration agreement was signed with Helsinki España-University Network and several meetings regarding the organisation of the Forum were arranged coinciding with the visit to Santiago de Compostela of the Director of UNWTO Affiliate Members Programme, Yolanda Perdomo.
The Compostela Group of Universities (CGU), in collaboration with the University of Santiago de Compostela, created and launched on January the platform where students and professors will interact during the e-learning phase of the First International University Forum: “The Value of Human Rights on the Camino de Santiago: Harnessing the power of tourism to promote cross-cultural dialogue and achieve the SDGs”.
Besides, the Compostela Group of Universities and Helsinki España-University Network signed a specific collaboration agreement for the organisation of the First International University Forum. This agreement was signed by the President of the CGU, Marek Kręglewski, and the President of Helsinki España-University Network, Ana Nieto.
Last week, the Director of UNWTO Affiliate Members Programme, Yolanda Perdomo, came to Santiago de Compostela in order to attend various meetings related to the coordination of the Forum. On these meetings, Perdomo was accompanied by the Executive Secretary of the CGU, María Teresa Carballeira Rivera, and the President of Helsinki España-University Network.
