History and Objectives:
It was founded in 1943. Nowadays it is the biggest private school in Latin America and one of the most important universities in Mexico. Seeking to educate professionals and equip them with the skills needed to succeed in the business world, Tecnológico de Monterrey has developed into an institution recognized, nationally and internationally, for its academic excellence.
The mission of Tecnológico de Monterrey is to form persons with integrity, ethical standards and a humanistic outlook, who are internationally competitive in their professional fields; at the same time, they will be good citizens committed to the economic, political, social and cultural development of their community and to the sustainable use of natural resources. Through its educational, research and development programs, Tecnológico de Monterrey prepares students and transfers knowledge to.

ITESM has ample coverage in Mexico with its 33 campuses throughout the country and extends its educational services to other countries in Latin America through the Virtual University.

To strengthen its worldwide presence, Tecnológico de Monterrey: –Maintains fourteen liaison offices throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, China and Latin America. –Promotes an international exchange program offering academic research and continuing education for both students and professors. –Invites foreign professors to serve as visiting faculty members. –Encourages proficiency in languages for students, faculty and administrators.
