Founded in 1953 as Institute of Chemical Technology, acquired present status and title in 1995. In 1998 The University was accredited by the National Agency of Evaluation and Accreditation.
Today the university is an institution with more than 50 years history as an educational and scientific centre with strong traditions and considerable success in creation of highly qualified engineers.
